Caroline Boussenot, Trainee
Caroline Boussenot is completing her Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and is currently a therapist-in-training at the Child Therapy Institute.
Caroline brings warmth, attentiveness, and creativity to her work with clients. She has a particular passion for supporting children’s social-emotional growth and helps young people feel seen and respected in their full complexity. She takes children’s thoughts seriously, gently encourages their independence, and helps nurture their relationships with peers. When Caroline is not in the therapy room or out adventuring with her two wonderful children, you can find her with her nose in a book (especially graphic novels!), making art, partner dancing, and spending time with friends.
Drawing from expressive arts, somatic awareness, and mindfulness, and rooted in empathy and cultural humility, she attunes to each child’s unique needs and pace, creating space for their story to emerge and their growth to unfold naturally.
