David Scott, Waivered Psychologist
David believes every child is unique and worthy of being celebrated. Children are shaped by the families, relationships, schools, and communities around them, and he believes therapy is most effective when we consider the whole ecosystem in which a child develops. A child’s current expression and experience deserve to be understood and validated within this broader context.
David holds an M.A. in Psychology and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Psychology. His aim is to foster a warm, collaborative, and integrative therapeutic environment, drawing from play therapy, emotion-focused therapy, expressive arts therapy, and integrative psychology.
Together with his clients, David strives to create a safe and supportive space where children can express themselves, explore their emotions, discover their strengths, and develop the tools they need to thrive. He feels privileged to partner with children and families and to celebrate each child’s unique journey.
