Kaitlyn Vincent, AMFT
Kaitlyn Vincent is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #162759) specializing in somatic approaches to nervous system regulation and relational healing. Her work is heart-centered and grounded in a decolonial framework, drawing on Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and polyvagal-informed care.
Kaitlyn holds a Master's degree in Somatic Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and is currently enrolled in the 3 year Somatic Experiencing training program pioneered by Peter Levine. Her approach centers the body as a site of both wisdom and healing, helping clients build safety, flexibility, and trust in themself.
Before her clinical training, Kaitlyn spent years working directly with children as an after-school program teacher and full-time nanny. This experience continues to shape her attunement to children's developmental needs and her ability to build trust with young clients and their families.
Kaitlyn also received a 200-hour yoga teacher certification, and weaves contemplative and embodied practices into her broader approach to healing.
